Hi,
Jack Elks isnt mentioned in the miming families report.
There is an out of print novellised biography by his son Brian Elks' Give me the child.- An early history of the kent coalfields'
I couldnt find a copy, but I believe abebooks ussually has one in stock.
If you have any difficulty let me know- I have the authors brothers email somewhere!
