Cheating at Flower Show in Mr Clark's meadow

If you click on this newspaper column- you may just be able to read it. This is from the Dover Express for Friday August 16th 1929, the last Saturday of the flower show described should be August 10th., but that doesnt quite make sense, that the flower show went ahead in his dad's meadow with Reggie lying dead a field away. Possible the article was carried over and the flower show was on the 3rd.
